Went tandem jumping last Sunday. My favorite part was the free fall too bad that only lasted for about a minute then the rest of the way was just floating down with the parachute.
One thing I didn't like was the twirling spinning of the parachute...made me a little nausea. I'm sure the fact that I didn't see for 24 hours before my jump didn't help either. I went to a Benny Benassi show the night before and when I got back did not have time to sleep. Might go again in a few years! For those that never went it's a must do:excited: |
I have to go again in the spring that is for sure.

27 jumps doing solo.
But stopped doing the sport when near fatal accident happened. That was 19 years ago when I was young and more daring and crazy. |

One tandem jump for me a couple summers ago. I was the first to go that year, with a trainee pilot too!
To top it all off, our primary shoot tangled as soon as it opened. Pretty intense. I purchased a second jump when I was there that day, haven't had a chance to go again though. They give you the option of a solo jump too for an extra $75 and a 4-hour class. I think I will do that next go around. I'm a bit a of a junkie. Would love to bungie jump too! |
Does indoor skydiving count? as in a verdical wind tunnel?? I have done that its pretty fun...
|
I have gone twice a few years back, both tandem jumps. There is a small county airport not far from here, and the guy that runs the jumping company holds (or used to) the world record for number of jumps.
It was pretty awesome, and I would love to do it again, but alas... they have a weight limit that I will probably never see again, unless I lose 2 limbs. :rofl2: |
