Question Math Help

I need some help with my math homework. I was out of town for a few days and missed one class and that covered the 2 chapters of stuff I need to do. I will be reading them but it is not promising that I will understand it I am very bad at math. So anyone want to help explain identifying parts of a percent problem and adding and subtracting REAL numbers.
I am not looking for a quick google search answer please help thank you in advanced.

Actually stating what the problem is would be of great help.

Well basically all you need to do is determine a few key things. 2 days is 48 hours and, in proportion to 2 days, 15 hours is 0.3125 days. What you need to do is put 15 over 48 and use x as a variable over 100. Now, you do 15 x 100 / 48 which will equal 31.25, which can be expressed as 31.25%. x = 31.25%. This is your percentage. Divide that by 100 and you will get 0.3125. This is your decimal. Your fraction will be 31.25 over 100, but in this case it is not feasible to express it as such because of the decimals. I think you can omit it.

Hope this helps. What you basically need to remember is this for percentages/proportions:

Btw, what grade are you in? The TI-89 is basically standard issue over here even in the advanced education calculus programs and you cannot take the course without purchasing one.

I went to John Rennie High School for a while when I lived in Pierrefonds, then went to École de la Magdeleine, French high school, on the South Shore, then went to John Abbots in college, went to Champlain College when the bus lines were cut off, and finally took some courses at the HEC de l'Université de Montréal.

Never heard of LPHS, unless it stands for Lakeshore Public High School.

Went to John Rennie from 7th to 8th grade so... meh. Didn't graduate from Abbott, but I was there in 2007 in Mathematics & Commerce. You still haven't added me to MSN.
