If you go through USPS you can just say your sending gift or sample then you don't get hit with any brokerage!

I share your pain. I was just charged $80 UPS fees for a $330 part.

Normally I insist on USPS and deal with the long wait times, usually 2-3 weeks. I still get charged brokerage/taxes but at a much more reasonable fee. Most times the parts still cost less than buying in Canada. I would say 99% of the parts on my car are from U.S. stores.
