yah, my buddies had one and it was very quiet. they use to take it out in the parking lot when we did these RC car races and we just borrow power from his generator for our armature lathes, charging batteries, etc.

this is why it's always been in the back of my head to buy one.

but if i was to power our fridge with it, i would need a pretty big one, so was like hummmm... no place to put it.

I know they do make rather large ones and from what I have experienced, they are all freaks of nature when it comes to decibels lol

I've always wanted one, especially after that derecho that hit us last year, dude we were out of power for like 5 days, and it was hott as fvck too.. my life sucked at that point.. hehe
