So for those that know my "is it a scam" situation: The guy is offering to send the PayPal payment as a gift. Which would mean he would be unable to dispute it or charge back. Hm.....

HE is buying your stuff...if he is buying then I don't see a problem with it...and if you are happy with the price....go for it!! SOLD!

I think I'll have him make the payment, then call PayPal to confirm it can't be reversed. If they say yes, I'll ship it.

Wouldn't sending it as a gift also save you from incurring Paypal fees? You'd get the full amount without them taking out a certain %
