The words are ex malo bonum, it means from evil comes good. Basically a reminder that no matter what kind of bad stuff you've done in the past, you always have the ability to be a better person, you're never a lost cause.

Personally, I go with stuff that's going to have a life long meaning, or something that illustrates a point or time in my life that I want to hold on to, or a life lesson I've learned. Don't get something just because it looks cool.

That's half my problem. My other concern is that once I get the first one, I'll end up covered in them.

My GF wants one, so I'll probably end up getting one as well. She told me that if we eventually get married, she'll get my signature tattoed on her *** if I get a wedding ring tattoed on so I can never take it off.

That can be a touchy one with people thinking about marriage/newlyweds...but someone needed to say it

Even my uncle that has been married for 20+ years with my aunt was like, damn, this thing is forever when he got his with aunties name
