Personally, I've given out creative baskets before (go ahead...laugh...it worked!

). I copied Boardwalk Empire, and put a LOT of peaches in a basket with a card that read "Thanks! You're A Peach!" It was for the girls at the dentist's office. All of them were married as well, and they were very grateful.

i have to figure out what restaurant she'll like, she eats pretty much everywhere lol
gift card, hand written note and flowers

i will probably take it to work with me, do you think it's okay for me to leave it on her desk?

Yeah as long as your hand written note isnt creepy as hell, I think you will be just fine with that.
*you could always offer up lunch on you for whatever she wants for lunch...will at least give a place she will eat at even if desperate
