Blah, I need a replacement FOB battery. Does anyone know if having a dead FOB would affect the electronic door unlock from the inside, once you open the door with

Blah, I need a replacement FOB battery. Does anyone know if having a dead FOB would affect the electronic door unlock from the inside, once you open the door with the manual key? I went to try to get into the hatch and tried unlocking from the driver's side door panel. Nothing happened.
