yah... i run stillen bars on my G35C along with rear camber rods, and they are very good.

on the Z though i dont know yet, but at least the front torsion rates are similar to the whitelines, and use stock bushings so that is two pluses right there. :)

i dont plan on using the rear bar on my stock setup. it's really only the front that the stock setting needs a tad less sway.

Hmm perhaps down the road I may take the stillen off your hands. Right now though its not a priority (new house and all)

Afternoon kids! I haven't been in here in a while, I feel like I'm neglecting you all hahaha. With my job it's hard to carry a convo though cause I'm always getting called to go over here or go do this or that.

Anyway, what's good today?

I survived Zdayz 2013... (barely)

Since my Z is a garage queen...as i left for work, I opened my garage and did a quick wipe down and glance at my Z as I got into my beater.....Sad the entire commute to work.

Felt my Z saying, "Me, me, me! Drive me today"

Pintsize725 08-14-2013 01:30 PM

so just for fun i was checking out the latest gen accord lowered/wheeled picts. some of them look real good.

but the sad part is that brakes are tiny, only 190hp or something 4banger for 6MT, and it's fwd. :( to have a car look fast but slow... nnnnn...

the other option is to get the v6, but with AT only... :ugh:

not very realistic for me. honestly, starting to give me a headache.

at least they still offer MT on their cars, huh..?

most sedans in that price range come cvt these days, or a pos 5sp or something. the 6MT on the accord is supposedly pretty smooth and tight. but the lack of power... i can't accept that.

I will need to buy a new DD soon. So far I'm all over the place with my choices. I can either do cheap hatch (15-20K) vs nice midsize/fun (20-25k). I'm leaning toward cheap hatch just because I don't need too nice of a car. Nice car means I'll baby it and then I have nothing to drive :rofl2:

kenchan 08-14-2013 04:32 PM

so plan of action for tonight...

i need to run errands again before heading home. :shakes head: but once i do, i plan on pulling out my kick scooter again and do 2 miles. :p

if my tape did arrive (in post box instead of at the porch with my wife's things), i shall work on installing the diffuser.

if not, will work on cleaning up my car parts area in the basement to get new wire shelves. :D

hey thanks, mr.zman. :D yah, i just put the ad up yesterday so we'll wait and see. my wife's been asking around her friends if they knew someone expecting, but most of them already bought one.

cheap hatch... you know wat i recommend for cheap hatches. :icon17: it really fits the bill when it comes to reliability, cargo space, rear passenger foot well and space, and pretty fun to drive (if MT). :D the AT sucksarse imho. :shakes head:

im keeping mine until my older kid is old enough to drive. he can have my fit...and learn MT at the same time. :D

You have to get the coupe model, and you get different gear ratios, too :driving: I was actually surprised that the 6MT was now standard in the lower models. Used to be a 5MT in the lower models and the 6MT was only available in the highest EX-L. I'm glad to see the 6 speed, but <200 hp is unbearable (excluding of course the Juke Nismo ;)). The EX-L is a considerable jump in power and torque. We would have considered one if it didn't cost more than we paid for the Z. My wife, being completely awesome, said we would buy a second Z before we did that :bowrofl: we can't afford the maintenance on another Z :'(

I saw a 370Z in Anoka today -- it was a black base model but had a rear fog light wired to the brake lights. It was my first 370 sighting in Minnesota.
