No, there's just this wierd bit of "countries colonized by the Spanish are somehow better than those colonized by the Portugese" thing going on. And then don't get her started on other Latin American countries. Apparently there's a heirerchy. For some reason it constantly pisses her off that I bring up the fact that she once dated a Guatemalan.
