Morning Z family! I haven't been in here in a while, work keeps me occupied :( if anyone in here likes tattoos, I got my first one on Monday. The wife new about it and went with me, but was still really unhappy about it. Oh well, she's coming around to it like I knew she would. In a week or two she'll like it lol. What have you kids been up to?

:pics: I'm the opposite, although I don't have a problem with them. My wife has one tattoo and has plans for a couple more (I care a little about the design but more about the placement). I refuse to get one because I can't decide on something that I think will stay relevant to me as well as continue to look good if I start gaining or losing a bunch of weight later in life. I'll just stick with the penises that my friends draw on me with a Sharpie when I pass out early at a party :tup: :icon17:

Hahahaha true that, penises are always a classic. I've been with my wife for 10 years now. Right before I met her I had my whole back planned out, it was a picture with lots of little details that told a story. I had put down a $250 deposit, the whole thing was drawn up, it was happening. Then I meet her and the first thing she tells me is that she doesn't like boys with tattoos, so I figure I'll put it off for a while and let her get used to the idea of it.

10 years later here we are. She was still upset about it because she has control issues and when things don't go according to her plan or demands she flips out.

My tattoo didn't have enough red in it, it wasn't in the place she thought it was gonna be in, the artist didn't follow the right procedure, the shop wasn't set up the way she wanted it, she found something to bitch about with EVERYTHING. Not to mention the tattoo artist asked her why she didn't like tattoos, and when my wife responded that she didn't think they were attractive, the artist asked "well... Aren't you supposed to love your husband for who he is and accept his differences?".

Oh boy... That set her off.
