Taking the day off from work?

I am in a precarious situation. One of my fellow consultants filled in for me here at a client two months ago (I was double-booked).

Anyway, she had them set up a few key processes in the forecasting/planning/scheduling areas that are giving them very bad results. I spent yesterday scratching my head as we went through the system parameters and settings -- wondering what she was thinking when she taught them this. I reached the conclusion that she was being lazy orr just does not understand the interwoven processes very well.

The tough spot is me trying not to through her under the bus -- then the client loses confidence in my firm because they sent a supposed senior-level person to them who is a little on the clue-less side.

ahhh bro. That is a tough spot, but I do know this, you are definitely the person to handle this awkward situation.
