woot! finally found a local seller that can sell me a slightly used stock knob. :tup:

i was chatting away with one of my car buddies at one of the meetings today, and he mentioned his friend recently got a 370Z and swapped knobs.

so asked my buddy to ask his friend to see if he was able to remove it without damaging it and a few min ago i got an email saying no damage and willing to sell. :tup:

so, will have one for my G in the coming weeks. :p my original plan was to remove my stock Z knob and use it on my G. but failed miserably due to super loctite mess. :ugh:

I applied my second coat of Desire. Cleaned the glass inside and out, detailed all the rubber trim, and added some satin black paint to my CF rad cover. Tomorrow I'll finish up and get the cars packed.

Yeah, I had both shipped to my place to save on shipping. Canadians get royally rammed when it comes to shipping. I still have duty/brokerage/handling/tax to pay but Fedex waits 2 months before they mail out a bill instead of just asking for the money at the door.
