Morning all, can't believe August is already here. I don't remember any summer flying by like this. Well Chicago had one week of summer... :ugh2:

Just secured the purchase of a TWM short shifter and a pair of Nitto Invos in 305/30/19 from a fellow forum member in San Antonio
The tires have 8/32 of tread, so they are perfect for my rears, which will need replacing pretty soon here. And the price I paid for both tires and short shifter is less than I would have paid for a pair of Nitto Invos in 285/35/19 from Discount Tire :happydance: |
Morning! Only 8:30 am here in AK.
Service is sketchy (of course). |
Morning guyz!

I got my wheel back on Tuesday.
It's much better now. Clearly the same color. Looks a little darker, but maybe it's because it was clean and the others dirty. :icon17: I'm satisfied. |

I emailed RR Nissan (they're the ones I let replace my headliner and they did a satisfactory job) about some powertrain warranty questions. There are so many dealers that claim that parts of the clutch are covered under the bumper-to-bumper but not the powertrain, so I asked them what they had to say. I plan to bleed the clutch this weekend, so we'll see if that does anything. |

Package from Adam's arrived
2x Mystery Box orders netted me 16oz All-Purpose Cleaner (always a good thing to have - I only have a 4oz sample size bottle left), 16oz Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner (good for both car and house fabrics), some detailing swabs, and a roll of detailer masking tape. Pretty good haul for $20 IMO :D |

This thread moves so fast! Welcome August, please be less wet than July.
I'm ready for the heat and humidity to go away so I can get a quarter mile or two clocked. |
Got an interview tomorrow. Probably won't work out though since it turned out to be on the opposite side of town. I didn't know that when I sent my resume.

Melody was working close to home, daily commute against traffic, all highway, and had a beautiful 370Z MT to drive :driving: Then her job hired a new a-hole manager, and her work became hell. Her new job is absolutely the opposite in many ways - not public accounting, almost completely stress-free, opposite side of town, and drives through some of the worst traffic in town (360). She had to give up the manual because of the traffic, but she absolutely loves not hating her job. And since you have an AT, you don't have to worry about giving up the car :icon17:  |
