I have a really bad one on the face rear driver wheel after Melody ran over some unavoidable debris when two cars collided directly in front of her a good while back.

dang :eekdance: @ 2 cars collision directly in front of your wife.

the wheels are tuff because it's like a dual layer finish with that hyper silver color. you'll probably need to get that professionally done if the scratch is big. :ugh:

Yeah, it was at highway speed, too  She was incredibly grateful to be in the Z because she had to wrench it over two lanes to the right to avoiding hitting them as well. She said the Z made the maneuver almost effortlessly at about 55 mph  :driving:

Yeah, it's damn big. Its definitely more of a gouge than a scratch. There's a huge spot of black it's so deep :shakes head:

JARblue 07-31-2013 04:59 PM

Here are the scratches from today with a dime for reference. It's the best I could do with a point 'n shoot camera. Not that I really want to see it any clearer :ugh2: I will do my best to avoid looking at it from now on

Those gouges look like the big one on my hood I got on I-10 driving to Nismo Fiesta last year. I'll show it to you on Sunday. I just ignore it when I wash my car. At shows, no one notices because I always open the hood.

Brilliant! My intakes are a lot prettier than the chips and scratches on the hood, so that works great :icon17:

As for ignoring it, I have plenty that I already try to ignore, so what's one more

Well not really although my slave cylinder went about a month ago and I upgraded with the Z speed CSC. It broke in Pennsylvania so I couldn't get it to my dealer in NJ. My experience with the dealer I left it with was completely HORRIBLE!! The mechanic got my drivers seat filthy with his dirty azz. They ruined the trim piece that's between the passenger window and the rear quarter window with some kind of solvent or something. It has all these spots all over it that aren't removable. When I went to pick it up I also found that the reverse lockout wasn't working and I could drag it right back into reverse without pushing down on the stick. I returned with the car and told them to fix it. They called a few days later and said it was all fixed. I drove 50 miles back out to PA AGAIN only to find that the problem was not remedied. I flipped out and left it there again also requiring that it be fully detailed due to the dirty seat and ruined side plastic piece. I came back and the car was detailed decently although the drivers seat was still dirty!!! The plastic piece was also still ruined. The reverse lockout however was fixed, turns out the stick itself spun around since the linkage underneath was undone to remove the trans. They blamed my dealer for the stick being incorrectly installed and I said it worked perfectly fine before I dropped it off. All in all the worst car experience Ive ever had.

Fun times...

People piss me off sometimes.

I get to work with dumb people today. On every project -- the client gets together and they find out who the dumbest are on their team and then they give them to me.

Isamu 07-31-2013 06:03 PM

Was at the Indians game last night (cheering on the White Sox) .....which turned into a group bar crawl after the game and the client left. I'm sure feeling it this morning. Not the rock star i used to be apparently. Good thing have meetings from 9-2 then a 5.5hr flight....man is it going to be a long day.

Good Morning Everyone. :hello:

Nothing worse than having to drag through a work day with a hangover. Especially when there is a flight at the end of it. Hang in there.

:hello: Sounds like a fun evening. However, when I do things like that these days, I make sure I can take the next day off if necessary (even though I haven't had to in several years). Hope the day and flight home aren't too miserable for ya
