RIP James Gandolfini
 

I'm sure there are a lot of Soprano fans here. So many memories watching Gandolfini with my buddies every Sunday. I think I've watched every episode at least twice. Such a tragedy. He will be truly missed. He literally put HBO on the map. Apparently he was a great guy too. Not really into the fame, just a humble guy born and raised in Jersey.

51 is a pretty early age to go. RIP.

RIP Tony Soprano.

I hate to admit it, I've never seen the sopranos.. and didnt know who this guy was. At any rate, RIP fella.

Super bummed to hear this news the other day. Definitely one of my favorite actors. :(

i've been in mourning past 2 days man. great actor and sopranos was and is still my favorite show.

literally have watched it from first episode to last of every season at least 50 times.

86 episodes at 50 minutes per episode - 4300 minutes.
4300 minutes = 71.6 hours
71.6 hours X 50 = 3583.3 hours
3583.3/24 = 149.3
You wasted 149.3 days of your life.

Definitely not a waste! People need recreation in their lives. Whether it be watching a show or whatever. And AKbubba you're from NJ too. Shame on you!

same here. i remember doing homework as fast as i could in jr high so i was allowed to watch it with my parents lol

the show was just awesome in so many different ways. and i thought i couldnt be more saddened than when the last episode aired and i realized there would be no more. this topped that :shakes head:

For sure! That's how I got into it too, watching with the parents.

What makes it even more upsetting is that the movie just got approved for production. Any he was working on a sweet new show too.

yea i know. i dont think they could possible move forward with a movie without him. just replaceable.

having a all Italian family like me this show was just perfect. a lot of similarities lol :ugh2:

Haha same! All Italian. There was so much to relate to. That's probably why we're feeling it more than others lol
