It's where you go to buy tools you only need to use once. I don't need to spend $400 for a right angle mini air drill just to drill 12 holes. $29 at harbor freight and done. If I end up using it enough to burn it up, go buy a good one.

harbor freight lol. as chuck says...use tool once, then cannibalize for something else. they're awful in terms of quality, but for a quick job it works okay.

+1 cant go wrong with a $45 impact gun and a $70 low pro 2 ton floor jack. Not looking to spend $200 on a aluminum low pro jack if im only lifting the car 3-4 times a year.

chances are, the $200 hydraulic is made by the same people that made the $70 hydraulic.

i have two harbor freight lightweight aluminum hydraulic racing jacks (by american general or something). been using them for the last 4-5yrs. one had a problem with the front roller... it locked up, but was replaced under warranty. no issues.

i also have a $19 rotary tool which have been great the last 5yrs.

Their bolt extractors and nut splitter might as well be made out of paper mache. Still need to go return those.

I just picked up a torque wrench from there last week and it works great. $17.
