Thanks for all your well wishes.. He is doing fantastically well..but still no report on the total damage..
Its a hell of a shock...I say again, I would love to know that my post influenced at least one person to realize the unthinkable really can happen.. Best to all!~! |
My dad had a heart attack at age 44 and had a full recovery. He had damaged half his heart muscle. Going 5 days a week at the gym, he became as fit as a 29 year old by age 60.
At age 69 25 years later, while 50+ feet in the air limbing a tree he had another attack. He then climbed down, walked up hill, then up three flights of stairs. He called his doctor to say his last words of "I think I over did it." and collapsed. Had he not had the first heart attack he would not have had the second. I've missed him every day for 19 years. Tell your son he can have it all but maybe tell him about my father just so he realizes he is not bullet proof either. I am so glad to hear that a father still has his son. Never should the sequence of life occur the in other order. All the best for you and your family :tiphat: |
Thank you for sharing. Glad he is recovering and still planning a wedding.

Thanks for sharing! This younger generation just doesn't understand what mixing energy drinks and alcohol can do to you. A good warning and hopefully a wake up call for others.
I wish you and your family well and here's to wishing for a speedy recovery for your son. Quote:

My rule of thumb is...If a person has to take energy drinks then there is something drasticly wrong with the lifestyle that person has chosen to live by.
