Driving your Z today?
Mine is in the garage. again. calling for thunderstorms later this afternoon-before I will get home :(

LMBmikeZ 07-23-2013 05:10 AM

yep I basically DD mine in the summer, unless I get sent to a job site that is on dirt roads or dirt parking etc... then I just put insurance back on the winter beater. But I haven't had to do that since the Z32 days, I have been lucky for the past few years

LMBmikeZ 07-23-2013 05:11 AM

we might get a little rain in the afternoon on my way home but it also looks like it might miss me. I will be in Stratford, Ontario :ugh2:

Big storm clouds to south west and north east when I look on the radar, as usual we just kinda sail through without to much sever storms unlike people in the GTA or other lake areas in ONT. I think living farther away from the great lakes helps with the thunderstorm situation.....

blackcherry20 07-23-2013 05:16 AM

 story for you guys!
Sunday I finally get out of the house doing chores etc...open up the garage doors, piddling around.
A bluejay gets in the garage I noticed a bit later...freaking thing is flying all over the place. Mind you there are 4 doors in this garage, two of them are HUGE and this stupid bird cannot find its way out.
I sigh and go about my business knowing the idiot is going to crap all over Harry :shakes head:
LOL
I go out later in the afternoon...cat paw prints all over Harry's hood....not happy.
I go out a bit later...NOW there are also feathers all over the hood and roof...
I guess the bluejay got had by the calico...problem solved and only one small spot of bird crap...still paw prints and feathers on Harry.
Hoping to fix that this evening.
Harry is getting some hands on loving...

I love Harry. :happydance::driving:

:tup:I think you are correct. the lakes create a lot of severe weather patterns...where I live is kind of a valley too between the Ohio River and Lake Erie. we get fog ocassionally but for the most part the valley protects us. weather goes north and south usually...we got hammered though on saturday...huge thunderstorams with high winds. I was fearful for Harry, couldn't see crap driving home from autoX.

Good Morning All! :hello:

Work, work, work all week (anyone remember the robot Uniblab from the Jetsons? :icon17:) and then a big track day on Saturday. It looks to be almost three hours on the track broken up over six sessions! :woot:

Here's my hero Uniblab:

I'm anxious to see how the new oil cooler performs. After getting REALLY close to limp mode at COTA on 10 minute runs, this weekend is going to be challenging.

At some time in my life time, I'll get my brake duct project completed, but it won't be this weekend.

Have a good day all! :tiphat:
