yah, amazon keeps claiming it is 'estimated arrival' but on the emails they send me when they ship, it says "Guaranteed Arrival." well, they gave me like a $5 store credit so i guess i will let it go, as long as the pads get here.

i tracked it last night, and does not show up any progress on USPS site. :ugh:

that kind of stuff drives me nuts, sorry to hear about it Kenchan!

Oh, as a side note, I bought a Meguiare's DA buffer last night with some pads and some new wax. My Z's gonna be shiny, and I've got a few other detailing jobs lined up that should pay for the buffer :excited: I love mods that pay for themselves... Now if only my Amuse kit and wheels would do that :(

mr.zman- do those actually fit without the buldge? if so, id like to get one, but i've already tried like 2 different sets and one was better than the other, but still no go. :shakes head:

and it appears the hoods are made differently at the hinge area on some production lots even though from the same year.
i pop the hood every weekend so having hood dampers would be very convenient...

well I have the z1 motorsports ones and mine do buldge a bit :ugh2: it seems like some peoples hoods buldge more than others.

There's lots of threads on the issue. Mine are perfect no bulge. I got mine from user kellyefields he had a couple GBs a while back not sure if they are still available though.

so far it seems kelly fields is the way to go.

I had to cut a little bit of plastic to get my Z1 set to fit the driver side, and it dents the foam by the clutch/brake reservoirs pretty good. But there are no bulges or gaps, so I am happy

Huck 07-09-2013 12:46 PM

Well I ordered mine and they're in Tampa, so I should get them tomorrow or the next day. I'll stick em on and see how they fit

I survived Zdayz 2013... (barely)
