Might consider giving the Z a bath tonight.

Let be honest here; who just got fired for googling "lemon party"?

So that's a no, since it's a "might consider".

I used to give her a wash weekly and keep my interior clean. Now I'm in IDGAF mode.

In addition to being my own boss, I am the office IT guru :icon17:

you're such a drama queen :icon23:

and if I ever thought about having to wash my DD on a weekly basis, I would buy a different DD or retire, whichever is easier :icon17:

So how does that make me a drama queen? I get told to stop caring by you and others here so I did. :icon23:

I'm more on a monthly wash schedule.

That way I can time it for when I wash my car, we're both clean.

There's too much dust and wind in Phoenix to deal with washing it more often... sometimes 2mos or more can go by.

lol that's what makes you a drama queen... one minute you're ridiculously anal about every scratch and chip and the next minute you're in IDGAF mode :shakes head: :p

Well, my paint was ruined less than a month after I had it redone. Then the twisted sisters put lots of chips on it. So I really don't care if it sits dirty to be ruined more. I'll do a claim at the end of the year and have it all repainted.

:iagree: I get to her more than once a month usually but there have definitely been droughts of 2 months or more (that's when I'll do a touchless car wash maybe). The key is to do a full detail every so often. I tell myself I have to do it at least twice a year, but I've pretty much been able to do it every quarter at least. Full wash, clay, polish (if necessary), glaze (if desired), and wax (2 light coats > 1 heavy coat) :tiphat:

While I'm glad you've seen the light and that chips aren't the end of the world, there are lots of panels on your car that don't have chips in them. I just pay attention to them more. Hell, I barely even wash my front bumper any more (and I certainly don't waste any clay or wax on it). The hood looks good but have a couple of chips that I try to ignore. The rest of the car is :yum: except for a few scratches (partially fixed by hand, but I now have the tools to finish the job )
