I have to go to the dentist for a filling after work.

This will be my first attempt at making rice. The gf always ends up making hard rice so im taking over.

It is, only one side, so I should be good I hope.

What's weird though, is I hate needles and think they hurt, but if I'm getting a needle in my gums, it's no big deal... so weird.

hummm... yah, rice is difficult to cook without the fuzzy logic ones sometimes. i use a zoujirushi which like a frikken computer. perfect steamed rice each time.

one tip is if you aren't using a fuzy logic one, after it's done, dont open the lid for 5min. that usually allows the rice to soak up the last of the steam to make it soft.

also, allowing rice to soak water before steaming (before you turn it on) helps too.

Mrs.Force makes rice without such technology. It turns out perfect every time, I don't know how she does it.
