Dam%, can this week get any worse?
 

To make a long story short this week has been a week from he%#. To start it off my a/c went out last week, four days after a repair the thing craps out on me for good. #2, went out to do a pretty good size job for a city i have a fairly good account with and the lawncare truck i used crapped out on me at the gas station getting fuel(starter burned up). #3, the bulb in my 65" DLP went out($399 to replace). #4, Tuesday i get a call from my cousin that my aunt is the the hospital, she had a stroke, don't know where she's at or who the he#% anybody is. She called me tonight and sounds pretty good. #5, thursday was my mothers b-day and was supposed to go out to a steak house but the plans got cancelled because my grandfather was feeling ill, so we all met at their house instead, he was preety much out of it and did'nt know who anybody is(he is blind by the way. My grandmother said he was acting like this all day and now it was 6:15 pm. We called 911 and rushed him to the hospital, i actually got to ride in the front and not in the back(thats a first)so i sat in the ER till almost 11pm. So much for my mothers 55 birthday party. Still today they don't know what is wrong with him. Man i just want this week to be over with, sorry but this is all the crap that has happened since sunday afternoon.

that totally sucks man, as long as everyone is ok, thats what matters.

if i continued my thread about the random things that happen to me or around me, i could write a book!....lol

Thanx fellas. I forgot to mention that thursday they are doing some big time route adjustments at the old post office and you guessed it, my route got hit. Atleast i have my business to fall back on. I'm not fired just loosing some hours, so that means i'll be running the Exmarks alot more and my guys will be enjoying my company.

Just got back from the hospital and the gramps is doing a little better, he had a small stroke. He didn't loose any motor skills just memory, right before we left he asked us why am i here? So he is starting to come around. Thanx everybody for the support:tup:

i hate hospitals....been there caring for my dad for a long time last year and some of this year.

i had basically every kind of problem or issue possible with the staff......
didnt like it.......worst is when the guy in the next bed just died....that was just freaky.

So how is your father now, hope he is doing well. This might seem really freaky 2years ago this november my dad's dad had past in a va hospital and i just missed him passing by about 15 minutes but we sat in there with the body for about 2 or 3 hrs, basically waitng for the funeral home to show up. I thought it as really strange, his mouth was wide open like he was gasping for his last breath.

he's doing ok, no chance of recovering, it just plateau'ed.....what can I do, just make him comfortable and happy is my goal day to day. that's all i have to say.

Enjoy all possible time you can with him, thats all you can do. Thats what i'm doing.

and since being with him in the hospital, i learned not too take sh!t from anyone, no 2nd chance, maybe thats y i might jump on someone here every so often.,...lol

Thanx again, gramps made it home today around 11:ish. They got to do something with him being blind and a little over 6 foot tall my grandma has a hard time with him when he needs to get up and move around. Once again thank you and i hope your father is alright Nogood.

I would probably use all of those things as an excuse to consume some kind of illegal substance.
