What speakers are they?

My Klipsch are replacing a pair of Bose 901 IV.

I replaced my Carver preamp with a Parasound Halo 5.

Model Halo P5 « Parasound

My power amp is a funky Adcom which I am replacing with this in July:

That sounds (heh heh) terrific! Are you re-purposing your 901's? I have never heard them but understand they may well be the most divisive speakers of all time. It seems that people either love them or hate them. Come back and update us on what you think about the Klipsch. (I have a prediction

)

My living room speakers are Marantz HD-880. I bought them new in 1978--my first large non-house, non-car purchase. They were quite well thought of and top-rated by Consumers Reports (when CR meant something).

Have followed this band for 10 years.They hit the big time this year signing with Atlantic records.
I'm not sure about changes.You have to sell your soul to make it on big label.Tour this fall.Have my tickets.
Have seen this Band live 15 times.Unlike most Bands the are better live than on studio records.
