rewatching this from the deftones concert i went to last night... it was AMAZING.. this is one of my favorite songs ever and it came a bad storm during it and the whole concert was cut short and we had to run back to the car in the pouring rain..but this was the ****!!!

Wow. I've always liked their albums, and particularly the album recording of that song, but that youtube video is just a sonic mess. I don't know, I could make a lot of excuses for it: maybe it's the crappy camcorder, the fact that it's outdoors (bad sound stage), maybe I'm hearing more of the audience screaming the lyrics next to the camera than the actual singer singing, and maybe the singer didn't have a good monitor setup to hear himself at all. But in that youtube video, at the end of the day it just sounds like a drunk high school band with a tone-deaf singer ******* everything up.

thats the dude from Dillinger escape plan.. maynard he is not...it was just cool to hear the song.. chino was awesome.. that video was in the pit.. i had pit tix but i actually found a better spot right beside the stage... so it was better from that vantage point.. but you had to be there really.. it was storming.. wind was blowing hard lighting everywhere.... was awesome.. like when he sang the lyric about this cool night air is curious.. its starting blowing rain sideways.... reminded me of the time i saw NIN... and they stopped the show because of lighting and the next song when they started up was down in it and during the rain rain go away part it started pouring.... epic

i was standing right about here..
