5. Same software as the PSP? you mean the XMB (cross media bar) is that what your refering to? Ever heard of dont fix whats not broken? Its 10x easier to navigate and control then the 360's main screen controls.
5.5. How much money have you spent on batteries for your controller?
6. Games being "slow"? you must not have a good connection.
6.5. There is a party chat, there is text chat, so im not sure what you were refering to on that #7 one.
7. Tell me how good HDdvd's are doing...they stoped making them right? Blueray. There you go.

Like i said before this is nothing personal, its not a yelling match or a **** measuring contest, just a well established debate. :tiphat:

No I am not going to take it personal. I own both systems, so I do have an advantage to talk about it with a little intelligence(from experience)
1. I agree with your stats, but I haven't sent one of my Xbox's in yet? I have had them for 4 years. ( I own 2 xbox's)
2. No because I bought the Sony Mic and had to sync it to the PS3 and then set up the talk settings.
3.I understand it's free, but it SUCKS(game play and talk wise) You can't even talk to people without having static or choppy converstations.
4.Updates are listed up top, but you have to search thorugh the menus to find where to update the firmware. Which 360 does automatically.
5. Just dissapointed that's all. It is confusing too( could be because I have played it 3 times)
5.5 I bought the rechargeable station. 39 bucks. over 3 years.....doesn't seem like it's a fighting factor.
6. I have a 10 meg connection and it's hardwired, so no that 's not the issue.
6.5 Maybe I don't know how to do it then.
7. Never bought HD, becasue I knew the platform would die. So not a factor.

I just feel if I want to play LIVE it will be with my 360, from my experience of both conseols. Like I said before I thnk the PS3 is a great machine, just not play live. Other than that it's nice. I am not here to fight about it or argue I am stating what my experience is with owning both systems. Not trying to start a flame war.

My turn:

1. I've had 3 RRoDs and still prefer my 360.

2. I agree... not sure what his issue was with his mic. I've had no issues using Bluetooth on my PS3, and it does work much better than the 360's mic.

3. Every game I've played looks and plays better on the 360. Period. The only games that play better on PS3 are PS3 exclusives.

3.5. LIVE is SO worth the cost of admission over the free PSN. SO much better.

3.5.5. Why the **** do I have to spend the time to D/L something from PSN, then have to spend MORE time to install it (games) just to use it? Once I D/L something from LIVE it's ready to go.

3.5.5.5. It's EXTREMELY hard to find what I'm looking for on PSN. I absolutely hate the layout of the store.

4. The 360's updates take no more than a minute or 2. PS3 pisses me off with it's insanely long updates.

5. 360's dashboard straight up pwns the **** out of the XMB. Everything is integrated so well. I still have trouble finding stuff on the XMB.

5.5. We have rechargable battery packs. What happens when your controller can't hold a charge anymore? You gotta get a new one. We don't. Also, we get a charge cable that's actually long enough to continue playing our game without having to stand half a foot from the TV (this is barring the longer cables you can buy seperately).

6. I get more lag on my PS3 than my Xbox.

6.5. It's easier to use on the 360.

7. HD DVD was never the 360's selling point like Blu Ray is for the PS3. The 360 has been and will always be marketed as a gaming console FIRST.

The way i look at it, since i also own both systems, a comparison between the two, i give 95% of it to the playstation.

I am not trying to start a battle between the two consoles, but someone asked why I don't play my PS3 and just gave my honest experiences.

And since xbox might get scrubed, you just might have to deal with the PS3 :tup:

I highly doubt the Xbox is getting scrubbed.

Why are they considering doing that? Isn't it selling second best only to the Wii? There were lots of rumors about the PS3 never coming out as well but that of course never happened.

Project Natal? Heard of that? Its kinda funny for m$oft to cancel a console when they have a breakthrough technology dropping in the near future.

I dont even call my ps3 by that name, its a bluray player that also plays games. I own 2 games for it (mgs4 and Resistance 2) and have no interest in anything coming in the future.

Didnt Kojima Studios just sign a 2 year contract for the xbox to produce new Metal Gear games?? Odd that they would do that if the console was getting scrubbed...:shakes head:

I actually like my xbox it is the newer one so I do not have to worry about RRD. Also I do not go online and play so I dont have to worry about any of that stuff. Also I love the PS# I rely do best way to get blu ray player and more, but the game selection is not that big YET. I am going to have to choose the xbox for right now.

The only thing I was able to find was a RUMOR that MS might stop producing the Elite.

I agree. The game selection is not that big YET, how much longer is Sony gonna make us wait?? The console has been out for years...heard that Infamous game was aight

There is a FACT that Microsoft is going to stop making the Zune NOT THE XBOX

The game selection for the PS3 is plenty, just not as many exclusives anymore.

The Zune is not dead, also I have heard a rumor of an Xbox portable which I hope to see come to light soon.

I currently own a PS3 for media duties and very light gaming (I am a PC gamer), though I was hoping to pick up a black Wii after they launched in Japan but it might not happen now.
