^lol i agree 100%, anyone who thinks a 360 is better gaming machine can go piss up a rope lol. especially when it gets the red ring of death that like 90 percent get. That and they rip you off for everything like live, have to buy a adapter so you can use wireless, have to buy battery packs for the controllers if you want em to be rechargeable etc. etc.

anyway sorry to get off topic, anyone here play call of duty 4 much?

Not to mention pay EVERY MONTH for xbox live lol. I used to play COD4...untill i found SOCOM :tup:

My PS3 collects dust, unless I am watching a Bluray movie. I can't stand the PS3.

I just hate how the PS3 pricetag has to STILL be at $400. If it's so much better, why can't the price drop to sell more = cover the cost in difference by more units sold.

Drop the price and you've got one sold.

Because up until a little while ago they were still losing money on each unit they made so making the profit up in volume wouldn't work. Although I haven't heard much about that lately so I'm not sure if that's still the case. It was kinda like a Bugatti effect.

Wow... I don't know if I can list all of the issues but here goes.

1. Took me over an hour to set it up when I first got it(2 months ago)
- New software update required. ( I have to go search in the menus to figure out how to download it) Unlike Xbox where it's automatic
2. I have to freak'n sync my mic to the ps3(unlike xbox's wireless mic) Automatic
3. I have to go into the settings and set up the mic to be used in game, private chat ect....xobx automatic. Seeing a trend.
4. The mics suck ***. I can't hear anybody it's choppy and full of static. Bluethooth Sucks!
5. The software and firmware is the same as the PSP( are you kidding me) what is that 4-5 year old technology
6. Loading in the games are so slow. Example you walk around a corner and you freeze and the loading takes forever and then you start playing agian.
7. No Pary chat like xbox

Bottom Line is if your internet connection is down, I would play PS3.
Internet Live up I would play 360

hmm not too sure about a bunch of those because I've never tried a lot of online playing. I'm usually a single player kinda guy.

That's my whole thing with the PS3. I think it is a great single player machine. No doubt about that. But I play a lot of LIVE. That is where it's downfall is. So hence why I don't play it alot.

I play COD4, and try to play every night.

i respect the ps3, its nice that the online is free but man they can't even compete with xbox live. i guess you get what you pay for...

Dont take this personal bruh lol, but im about to tee off on you.
Heres 7 reasons why your wrong:
1. PS3 has a 890:1 ratio of faulty equipment, the 360 has a 65:1 of faulty equipment. Can you say RED RING. So bash the PS3, ill laugh while I play my games and ur waiting for microsoft to send yours back.
2. Why was 3 reasons about the mic? I got a PS3 the first day, bought a Plantronics mic...and havnt touched the setting since, all u do is turn on the mic, and your set.
3. PS3 has 8 processors, 360 has 2. So the PS3 has LITERALLY 4x the computer power a 360 has.
3.5. Playstation Network is FREE, as is a brilliant application called HOME. (google it)
4. The constant updates, which ive never had one last for more than 40 minutes insures up to date software and additions to the system.
5. Same software as the PSP? you mean the XMB (cross media bar) is that what your refering to? Ever heard of dont fix whats not broken? Its 10x easier to navigate and control then the 360's main screen controls.
5.5. How much money have you spent on batteries for your controller?
6. Games being "slow"? you must not have a good connection.
6.5. There is a party chat, there is text chat, so im not sure what you were refering to on that #7 one.
7. Tell me how good HDdvd's are doing...they stoped making them right? Blueray. There you go.
