I am not sure yet. I know the Blue Rays are 7.1 so I am looking towards that but than again I have been with 5.1 for a while. I think 7.1 is what I would go with in the future because that is what my elite can do. But as of right now I think 5.1

5.1, 7.1 isn't worth it and you won't tell the difference

7.1 is only worth it if you have a dedicated theater room, and a big one in my opinion.. which is why i'm 5.1..
