I would add some padding and eyebolts.
That way you can attach restraints without damaging the wood.
Now that I think about it, you could skip the padding.

im not into pier1 and those stereotype lady stores 'bedbathbeyondboring", etc but a cousion or two might make it more comfy for your wifey indeed.

we have a hard time finding stuff we both like at those big box stores so we figured why not just make some stuff......

yes this will be our first kid

I also painted the concrete foundation transition (the 2-3 feet of foundation that is below the drywall)

now the floor is drying in prep for the epoxy to go on this afternoon
