A rainbow........weird sky........and a U.F.O.
3 Attachment(s)
Several years ago the following appeared and were photographed.
lol the last one looks like the end of a spoon
the first 2 pics are crazy, and I agree the UFO looks like a spoon shot up close lol.
Please, try not to over anaylize these. I will tell you this, it was definitely not a spoon. lol
Did you take these?
All photos were taken by me.
It's either a bowl or a spatula then. Definitely concave and metal.
I don't know what it is, would like too? lol Can we have an answer? Or at least make it into a game/poll to see who is the closest?
Are these older pics? I'm taking a guess here with saying the black border around all are from the negative after you scanned them? Also how did you take the sky/rainbow pic? Just really well done point and click or did you have to make adjustments? edit: wow sorry for the 20 questions lol |
The rainbow and sky pictures were taken with a Nikon 35mm point and shoot. No filters were used, and both the sky and rainbow are photographed exactly as they appeared. As for the U.F.O., I will tell you it was much larger than a spoon or a spatula. Allowing some time for some guesses, I will then seperately reveal 2 more photos of the object, that should make things crystalize. Fair enough?
It's a wok?
Much bigger than a wok, but an excellent guess
Its one of those Chinese hats! :rofl2:
I know exactly what it is. From my prior guess of black background being a negative. It was shot with a 35mm. So therefore it is....
A street lamp, the light would be inside, and it is right by the trees with how you shot it. YES???? or no..... |
Not a Chinese hat , not a street lamp. It is flying through the air, and not attached to a pole, wire or anything else that would smack of sharp practice. It is truly at this point an unidentified flying object.
I got it.. the incredible hulk got really pissed at a bird bath and you were there to capture the tantrum and the inevitable flying top half of bird bath.
^^lmao
The creativity of these possible answers is truly amazing, however alas it is not a birdbath. Hint hint, it is much bigger than a birdbath.
this is going to drive me crazy lol
one last request for a hint. Did a person make this airborne or did it come off of something? |
It was launched.
an old satellite dish
I forget what they are called, but is it one of those things for shooting practice? "POLL"
A clay pigeon is what you are refering to. But god I hope I never have to shoot a clay bigger than a bird bath, that might need a little more than a shotgun.
It was launched? NASA testing aerodynamics to try to steal their alien friends aerodynamic knowledge? |
What about a Cymbal off a set of drums or a hub cap?
Cymbal could be a good call depending on Cave's thought of how big a bird bath is.
Depending on how big it really is, and I don't knowhow or if it could be launched, but maybe like a pond or small pool lining? |
BINGO the correct answer.....congrats

Kdo 2 milger has correctly guessed that it is an old 4 ft. diameter sattelite dish. Photo's attached.

so, how did yall launch it or did someone throw it while the pics were taken. |
How was it launched? and congrats KD for figuring it out, now I won't have to be on my phone all through class trying to figure out/see what this was!
Le sigh...
^^ haha oh well
ya win some ya lose some  |
speaking of pics...i need to get outside and take some to update my avatar...:woot:
be back soon... |
If you look closely at the top of the shed you can just barely see the "launchers" arm as he tossed the 4 ft. dish while I was busy snapping the photos.
If someone could now insert the UFO into the weird sky picture, it might prove to be a classic. My capabilities on the computer are not skilled enough to attempt such a feat.
