we were up a little late but extenuating circumstances demand that i be up early. I have a HUGE family and if one of them hears dinner is at somebody's house THEY all show up. Sister and her family already here, hubbys mom dad and granny coming...little by little people inviting other people.

Before Mall of America was built, that was the biggest mall in the country. Plenty of lodging, eating and shopping around there.
You're also within an hour of Philadelphia. If you like art, there's the big art museum and The Barnes. Also, Monk's Cafe for Belgian fans. Morimoto has his restaurant in Philly, also.
