This time however, should be for a good reason ( Click to show/hide ) A little background: in Oct 2012 I quit working for the company that my father and a former co-worker of mine started in Jan 2012 because the former co-worker called me on the phone and talked to me like I was his 2 year old child. I called him out on it immediately, and fortunately, I was in a position to simply leave the company and retain all of my work on my own and pay my own salary. Fast forward to today: my father informs me that he is going to be bought out (something we didn't think the guy would actually be willing to do) in the immediate future and will start up another firm for his consulting. I will be joining the new team, and hopefully bumping my salary by taking on additional, higher paying work It will probably take the next month or so to work out all the details, and we'll probably be in the same office until the end of the summer.
