Called the body/paint guy today...he will be happy to fit my engine bay stabilizer in between larger jobs...now i just have to wait till hubby is home to help me get it off

Don't be scared of clay bar either it is easy

just watch one or two youtube vids and it should demonstrate it good enough for you

Yikes. Just saw a red 350 partially wrapped around a street sign. Luckily everyone looked fine.

I'd prefer to waste their time, have them change it (which they should have done years ago) and I'll have a new steering lock. No sweat for me. The only person that touches my car anyways is Derek @ Deland Nissan (GT-R Tech).

It's a super easy process

All you need is the clay, some quick detailer spray, microfiber cloth(s), and some powder-free disposable gloves

The new units are no better than the old units though... I guess as long as your willing to potentially deal with towing your car to the dealership to have them replace it again (that's a waste of everybody's time)

If I were you, I would show the relevant threads to Derek and have him remove the fuse for you
