yes, indeed. i already spent $500 on that extra lock for insurance since i dont take my car to the dealer for service (or hate to put her on a tow truck even if this is a free replacement service

) but this is all good news for everyone.

where are you guys hooking up your mics for your HU (BT phone mode)?

im thinking about the very top of the a-pillar cover or the corner where the a-pillar cover meets the top of the windshield since mine comes with a clip.

any other location?

if you don't mind.. the best position, suggested by my Auto-audio buddy, is the space right in front of the tachometer.

He told me that position receive the least background noise and most direct to your mouth.

thanks, mr.alcheng. that was one of the places pioneer noted on their installation manual as well.

So let me make sure I'm getting this right. With this voluntary steering lock thing, since I have my extended warranty can I go get this replaced? Or is not every dealership participating in this?
