Thanks everyone for the well wishes on my wife's CPA exam. And congrats to Zman for passing his - it is an incredibly difficult test and a tremendous accomplishment

I came home today to the power being out for nearly two hours at the house (pretty cool that my 3000W UPS was still running two computers in sleep mode, a server being mostly idle, and my modem, router, and firewall

). The power was back on before Melody came home, but we went out for dinner and drinks anyway

Congratulations to ZMan and Melody!

I passed the exam back in the Dark Ages (1986) when the test was given twice a year, you weren't allowed even a calculator, and you had to pass at least two parts to get credit, and score no less than 60 on the parts you failed. It was a b!tch!
