Bachelor Party HELP!
 

Well my 24 year old brother is getting married in November and I'm the best man. Typically, strip clubs and skanks would be the center of the party but he doesn't want any strippers. He's the type that loves to drink and party. I was thinking of hitting up Ybor City, near Tampa FL. I am looking to spend $500-1000 on this party and will be 6-12 guys in this party.

So far I think the best idea is to take a limo or party bus up to Tampa (1.5 hour drive) and bar hop. I'm not too familiar with Ybor City or Tampa though. I don't know which clubs to go to or whatnot.

I need ideas guys!!!!

$500-1000 will f the budget just on the party bus if you're driving that far for a night



May of recommend like having everyone meet up there the maybe get bottle service at a place then bar hop, have a good time, then come back to a hotel/suite that you guys got for all the guys?


I did I recent bachelor party in Austin, TX

Had the presidential suite at The W, walked out to the bar/clubs, then had bottle service at one club, chilled a bit, went to another club where we had bottle service.
Then came back to the hotel... (These ******** hired hooke... Strippers.. LOL!!!)

It was an AMAZING night

Well I can spend more. Not a big deal. But don't want to spend $2k. Also, I was plannig to ask each guy for a little money towards it.

Limos are like $80/hr, right? That'll be $160 each way, so $320 for travel + bars/clubs VIP

Bro don't feel obligated to pay it all.

They are part of the wedding party for a reason. It's no shame to ask them for pitch in money, to soften the blow for you. They are enjoying it too......

I was never the best man....but part of wedding parties and I have always pitched in a few hundred for the event.

Your brother is saying no strippers because his woman told him too. Get them anyways and dont tell him so he has deniability.

We almost split everything... I paid for an extra bottle, one guy paid for an extra bottle another night and one guy paid for the strippers


But that's because we wanted to go above and beyond, everything else was pretty split up, all chipped in for the hotel, and the limo and the bottle service

I already said I was going to get money from the guys.....

Besides, I'm not worried about that. Ball parking overall costs.

Just looking for ideas on where to take him and whether I should get VIP at one place or two places or what you guys suggest.

you should def not be paying for it all... I coordinated my best friends bach party last year and everyone that went chipped in, not just the groomsmen.

Also, the stripper thing, yeah he told me "no strippers" as well cause he wife told him and me we couldnt have any. Well guess what, those strippers were definately there for a few hours lol

Jesus guys, I'm not paying for all of it lol. I had to put a number out there so somebody didn't recommend we fly to Las Vegas, gamble the night away, and get a penthouse suite haha.

If the party comes to $1000 and I get $100 from each guy then I'm golden.

dont know the area too well but best bet is ask the guys for $150 each, that gives you lets say 10 guys = $1500. Rent a party bus and head to wherever your destination, then the first bar/club you go to ask for in advance some sort of 1-2 hour package deal with drinks and food, then after that you can bar hop and everyone can spend their own money on more alcohol and party.

the point is to get some good food and hammered at the first place for your $150 you put in, then go out and have more fun and spend $ but your drunk so no one complains.

If he isn't into skanks maybe he's into this...

drive down to Broward and hit up Tootsies or Scarlette's....two best strip clubs in Florida

there are a couple of nice hotels in ybor, couple of blocks from the strip. drive up and walk to all the bars. Then stumble back.

Party bus it down there, bar a hop a little, bottle service at Prana, get a nice hotel for the "afterparty"... obviously splitting cost like adults should do.

dont know that area but i planned out my friends bachelor party last Oct. we had a friend drive us. i got us a whole vip table at one of the biggest clubs we have in Pittsburgh (not saying much lol) but i know a girl who works there so she hooked us up with 2 free bottles of 3 olives to start. ended up getting 2 bottles of captin, 2 bottles of jack, 2 bottles of ciroc, 4 bottles of champagne, and god knows how many trays of shots we bought of the girls. then since my friend wanted strippers we went to a strip club after the club was closing down at like 2ish since the titty bars here are open til 5 am. it was really fun plus the added bonus it was halloween weekend so all the girls were dressed more like whores at the club.....strip club still normal dress code lol

i dont remember what each of us spent on it but i had the highest total of about $1000-1200. i think added together maybe $2k total but thats no hotel rooms and no limo haha alcohol at 150-200 a bottle then the amount of dances we bought for him it adds up.

he deserved it though. already had 2 kids before getting married and goes out MAYBE once a year i felt it was a worthy cause to drop alot on him.

Sounds awesome guys. Thanks. I'm going to have a lot of time to plan this and I think I'm going to hit the clubs around September just to be sure that I like the club first. I don't want to have my heart set on a club and then it goes out of business. These damn clubs and bars around here come and go like crazy just like the owners.
