Any computer gurus here (help)

Ok, so I'm streaming pandora on my laptop, and was wondering if there is a way to download the music to usb flash drive.
Is there a program, or software I can get to do this??
I'm no computer whiz, so go easy on me!!

No (technically), also that is very illegal.
You want a more specific style playlist software look into Spotify or Rdio, you can build custom playlists and such.

Illegal yes. Possible? I'm sure. There are programs for everything nowadays. >_>

I recently dug up my old Philips CD recorder, and have it wired to my blueray player down in the home theater room, so I can record pandora manually to disc, but then I have to do the transfer to USB. Only trouble is I have to do the recordings in analog format.
(and its a pain in the a#% as well.

You may be able to find software that will monitor/intercept the data stream. Something similar to using PortMon to look at the raw data coming into a serial port.
If it's going to your soundcard, it should be a trivial task for a programmer. Might even be part of your soundcard drivers/apps.

Edit: I'd try searching the Web for "virtual soundcard", "ripping from soundcard", &c

I'll try that. I just tried a program I found online called "orbit downloads" that was supposed to work on pandora, but I couldn't get it to work. Just removed it from the 'puter.
Thanks for the replies

While I have not tried it with Pandora, Realplayer will rip and convert almost anything. I use it for Youtube mostly because of the shitty pauses that I always get while streaming from them.

I cannot emphasize enough how much you SHOULD NOT install that piece of crap software Realplayer. Realplayer is up there with AOL and weatherbug when it comes to worst software ever designed.

I would agree some time ago that Realplayer was ****. I have it monitored and I am finding no issues with it yet hogging resources. My version is about 1.5 years old and I never upgraded it. Look at the forums to check for problems. I can convert Flash, Vimeo, youtube, soundcloud into ANY form I wish.
