So as the year comes to a close and we survived the Mayan apocolypse, what was your 2012 me-moment (see what I did there? memorable plus moment)? Kony 2012..... Fail?

2012 to a Close

I had a good time with my dad installing my Zele kit. He has never supported this hobby (or really any hobbies I have) until now. Not sure why the change of heart but I will take it!

Is yours Authentic Zele, or Zele repro? I don't hate against repro's I'm just curious cause I <3 Zele myself. I wants it.

2012 has been an interesting year to say the least.
I got a ton of big stories I got a new GF, new Dog, was at empire state building when the shooting happened. The same weekend when I was out of town my winter car burned to the ground. I also started my shop this year so needless to say it will be a memorable year. The biggest event was coming home to this. |

It has been quite the year, I was offered and excepted a great position with a private non-for-profit organization which allowed me to retire from my job of 23 years working for AZ Game and Fish Department.
I bought my first Z (sports car)! The best part of the purchase was the test drive. The salesman was a twenty something (great from India kid) and only his second day selling cars. He had never driven a stick, but owned a couple of crouch rockets. Anyway, I push the car to just over 115 on the highway and he was more excited than I was...he through his hands into the air and yelled yahoo! My very first 100 plus test drive. ILMFAO

Hard to say 100% but I think the fuel regulator failed and filled the vac lines with fuel. I think the fuel was sparked by the alternator/starter somehow. I was in NY at the time but the person who started it said they never smelled fuel so if it was contained in the vac lines until the rail got pressure maybe. There was litterally nothing left so it is hard to say but it went up fast from what I understand. It was in my shop at the time and he pushed it out and put out a small fire that had started in the shop when he got back to the car the exstinguisher he first grabbed wouldn't put it out and it was a total loss extremely quickly I guess.
