hey JARblue, I think you need a total of 5 LEDs, 2 for maps, 1 for trunk, and 2 for the plate.

You can also change the one for the vanity mirror but it's a different type and cost a bit more.

I will suggest you order couple more as spare since they "burnt" quickly...

Yes, LED should last forever but they do goes bad.

England's King Richard III found after 500 years | Reuters

somebody want to tell me how this happened?! They dig up a body in a parking lot in England and say: by jove i bet this is our lost King!

H3ll, it could have been anyone.....he was under a parking lot for goodness sakes...

they were $7 for 10 pk so I'm not too concerned if they go out

I would expect the cheaper they are the shorter the life, so we'll just wait and see

You can check my post in the on topic thread but I'm about to do comparison photos in the garage so I'll post them up a bit later. There's another type, too, that I will use in the comparisons as well.

Yea , but what made them think upon discovery that it was anybody extraordinary?! Its a skeleton, not like he was wearing his crown and was surrounded by knights in shining armor....

Haven't used that one before, I am using this:

^^ Which is pretty bad quality cos it burnt after 2 months

And when you install in into the socket, make sure bend-out the metal-piece a little bit thus it contact the socket properly.

This is the replacement I bought, I found they work pretty good and no problem on contacting the socket:

well.............I guess curiosity the "hey what if" something had to connect with the people to make that connection and positive identification. they knew he suffered from scoliosis and the skeleton backed it up type thing...anyway.... congrats on their part after solving a long term mystery
