Mr.kenchan, on the music keyboard..!!! It's good that your mod-list for the music-room haven't been affected by those taffy-apple suckars... Regarding the long term affect on the excessive contact lenses usage... it could take as short as 4-5 years or as long as 10+ years. Here are couple examples:

Actually, prescription becomes stable as early as 18-19 and as late as 30, so I say mid-30 is a good age to consider refractive surgery. What happened with you was the technology at that time for lasik was not mature enough. The scar on the cornea is thick, the laser cannot finely 'shave' the cornea thus cannot obtain an accurate correction. Lots of complication thus it was a big no no to have lasik surgery done at that time. However, the technology nowadays are much better, lasik or PRK are both having good result and minimum complications. But, if you decide to go for it, go for the most expensive thus the best one. Only those are using the most advanced technology/machine. About $5k to $7k for a pair of eyes. Quote:
At least for now, I will suggest Lasik or PRK over ICL. Personally, not keen on its concept. alcheng's CAD$0.02 Last edited by alcheng; 01-24-2013 at 01:04 AM. |

That's definitely my starting point. Just not sure until I see it for myself

I get to take the Acura into the dealership for an oil change this morning because three different shops and myself could not loosen a bolt to the undershroud. If the dealer effs it up it's on them...
Thinking I might drive all the way back across town to my wife's work and swap for the Z. Even though it's selfish, there's a chance I can play it off like I was being the good husband and giving back her AT for her painfully long drive home
