check the master link in the chain.....mine was doing that too and finally the chain came apart , of course it was one of the coldest windiest days we had

it stopped halfway open, unhappy hubby and wife!

one of the bolts that held the track up fell out of the ceiling

and of course, it's right above my NISMO

anyway, got a new bolt in with a better retainer, it's not going anywhere lol
