LA Auto Show -- lots of pix
 

Ok. Been going to the show each year. This is how my adventure to the Z started. Just went out looking at cars last Dec 2011 and ended up with a Z the following May. Sat in a lot of cars that day, Cayman's, Ford's, Chevy's, Mazda's, the BRZ, Porsche's and what not. Great experience. I returned this year and promised myself to share what I saw this year. Enjoy........First up, Porsche and Honda......EV-Ster.....

Saleen --- Can't believe it is a 12 yr old car
 

Carbon Fiber Body Aluminum Frame
Got a real close look at this thing. The host got us in and behind the stanchions/barriers. It was for sale but did not bother to ask. I did not have my check book with me anyway. Said it was loud as heck inside and forget about talking in the cabin. Glass barrier not enough to block the scream of the big motor behind.

Hey G. Thanks. I'll go with you guys next year. Went after work last Thursday and we stayed until closing. One thing I noticed was not as many concepts this year compared to LY. Nothing from Nissan got my attention. Guys from Galpin Auto Sport, Morgan, Saleen, and Callaway were pretty cool and got us behind the ropes for a closer look. Run out of time and was not able to go underneath the convention center for the aftermarket stuff.

Nope was not able to get behind the glass. It was weird how they set that up. It was also strange how they had mostly silver and charcoal grey cars in their booth.

I've never liked the Cayman before but the 2013 is quite nice, definitely has some masculinity now more than ever. Then again with options and all putting you in the 60k range I wouldn't buy one, would opt for a M3, C63, or CTS-V.

Man looking back through the pic's, that Honda looks like something Tron would drive :facepalm:
