Meguiar's Ultra Cut Compound vs diamond cut

Does anyone know if Meguiar's Ultra Cut Compound (105) can be substituted with Meguiar's Diamond Cut Compound (95) using Junkman2000's techniques? I'm having major trouble trying to find the 105 in Canada. Eshine seemed to have everything else i need but the 105 is out of stock and i can't find anywhere else.
