The New "What did you do with your Z today" (with off topic replies) II

Measured within spec on the entire hood. Nissan guy says he will enter all the notes into his database so I just have to call Nissan to follow up.

No but I can't call until Monday anyway since they are closed now. I have a big issue with how he's going to word everything. Towards the end of the conversation, he was asking the body shop guy if the original complaint areas could be environmental. And he seemed to be set on thinking the cracks were done by a third party.

this is just me, but if he's really acting like that..... i'd seriously consider finding someone else whom is willing. you know? No Hassle. They would no longer get my money, you provide the service we expect when we buy a frickin car. or else you will NOT get anything but a bad review.

The counter argument will be that I bought the car used and there's no telling what the previous owner did. But these cracks are under the clear coat, my hood is smooth in that area.

I'm really just happy that it finally got looked at and that the test came back negative for repainting.

did you see this when you FIRST bough the car? because if so, then the Dealer also saw and knew.

I would but I am going into the house with no appliances, sold them with the house. A lot of the stuff was at comparable prices to what they will be offering on Boxing day and most of them said they would reduce the sale we got more so we got some decent deals. Like today the stove was supposed to be 1700 they had for 200off then I got another 400 off because I wanted the lower model and they were all out of it so they matched the price for next one up in the same line of appliances saved $600 off the original price in the end

I like doing those jobs but they are not as common. Past couple years I have done mainly large pipe runs, pyro work and bus ducts so basically all distribution sh!t which is fun but not as technical as PLC (even though I know you do a lot of it on the computer) just different work. That is the one thing I do love about our trade is that it is vast in the scope of work we do and are licensed for. But it can have it's days like anything though I guess
