I've got 12 kids to purchase Xmas presents for, none of which are our own mind you, ranging from the ages of 2 to 14. I think I'm gonna get em all a $20 gift card to some kid-specific joint like Toys R Us and strap a Met-Rx Colossal bar to each. Done!

Gift cards work great for kids over ten. Younger than that, opening the present is where the excitement is.
