we r getting hit good here too.. not as bad as jersey but we r starting to flood already and it hasnt even hit land yet.. im sure i will be loseing power soon. winds are up to about 35mph and they are saying we r gonna get up to 65mph.. im not in a flood area so im hoping that my house wont flood...

AK, be safe as possible. We are with you! I just saw Gov. Christie admonishing local officials in Atlantic City for allowing folks as close as one block from the water to shelter in place. He told them its too late to get rescue folks in and they would have to ride it out till morning. Its going to be a long night.

On a lighter note, on local Baltimore news, Jayne Miller was reporting on the severity of the storm, live from Fells Point.

Some dude ran behind her with his shirt off, waving and hollering.

winds picking up here, rain too, looks like CT might be out of the danger zone, but we will see, hopefully no power outage, heard NY and Nj got hit pretty hard though.

Governor calls it a state of emergency, most of my friends see at as a normal day.
