Being in 105 degree Las Vegas weather this past weekend felt much better than the typical mid 80's with high humidity in the midwest! |

It's the dead of summer right now in Gurnee, north of Chicago. We've had a cold as hell winter (hit the double digits below zero this year) and the summer's been cold too. I love the cold. Hate the heat here, usually always wet heat, with at least 70% humidity... absolutely kills you. I think the highest we've hit so far this summer in Gurnee was only about 91 F. I like.

As i type it is currently 66 degrees in PA. Which is awesome to me since I hate the heat. So far the East Coast has had a mild summer compared to everyone else. I hope it stays this way personally lol, but only time will tell.

Yeah, FU Houston, at least this week. Wind speed avg has just jumped to a whopping 3mph here, which lowered our heat index to 102, the lowest I've seen in a few hours on wunderground. Actual temp is 99.7. And I'm out in the garage bleeding brakes and such most of the day. I work really slowly for an hour or so, then I come inside and work on my computer in the AC for an hour or two. It's the only way to stay alive
