Best site to buy used electronics

Hey all,
I'm looking to buy a GSM Android smartphone off contract; I'd like something decent but not extremely expensive.

What site do y'all recommend for the best deal?

What phone do you recommend? I used the Nexus for the past week while I was between my iPhone 4S and iPhone 5; this phone is for my mom, but I'd like something on the level of the Nexus or better.

Just use eBay.. thats what I use, contracted or non contracted phones, with a vast variety of phones, new or used.

or get it local via craigslist so you could inspect before you buy.
