I actually used Wyeast for this batch! I believe British? I couldn't believe how fast it reacted, but couldn't seem to pop that little bugger for the life of me

Use the american ale from wyeast or cal ale from white labs. It will give you more of the taste your looking for. The british ale yeast is gonna give you a more biscuity flavor and dull some of the hops.

Jimmy rigged this little blow through due to the amount that was coming out
uploadfromtaptalk1354146176197.jpg I know for the next batch I have a Belgium Ale wyeast. Next time I will definitely try a different packet. Hopefully this doesn't dull too much. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 via tapatalk

Anyone here been brewing?!? I recently picked out up a Kegerator and it is AWESOME!!
Found it on CL for a killer price. Came with 1/4 and full Sanke kegs. I was nervous about the Sanke connection and homebrew, but it was easy and came out great. Not having to wait for the bottles to condition is so great. Draft beer at home, gotta love it!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk

Just about to finish a nice Holiday Extract beer I bought off of MoreBeer. I can already tell it is going to be great! Couple days left until kegging. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk

I have a lot of people telling me that the Cornelius Kegs are the way to go due to the ease of cleaning and tapping. Have you run into any issues with losing pressure? Looks awesome to me! I highly recommend checking out MoreBeer, they have some killer brews at a great price. (Much cheaper than my local brew store)

I have a little bit of issue with pressure running 3 kegs. The problem is that I have 1 commercial keg, a Pauliner and 2 corny kegs. The corny kegs seems to like the lower pressure while the Pauliner likes to be a little higher CO2 pressure. But overall it is very good. I never did a bottle and priming thing so I don't really know how much more work it is compared to just kegging. IMO it has to be a lot easier due to less to clean, less to fill, less of everything actually. I think it is worth the investment if your really gonna get into the hobby. My setup cost a bit ~$800 for everything but i went big time with a big chest freezer and keg conversion kit.
For sizing a good size freezer (if your going new, if not get a craigslist one for free or little $$), cut out circles the size of the keg so you can place them inside and do a mock trial of how many kegs and how the kegs will fit in the freezer. |

Haha haven't updated this thread in forever! That is a sick setup. Can't go wrong with any of those hobbies. That's a lot of money in records!!! Right on!!
As of right now I am still working on my Sanke keg filled with some Homemade Winter Larger, spiced and a little rosemary. It's pretty good! Talk around the state is strong about Yuengling beer coming up into Boston. Any bar you go to around here the past few months are really pushing it. Good change for us up here!
