Goog and FB really leading the pack. AMZN up big as well.

Anybody have thoughts on FSLR. up 7.83% today.

JPM had a note out yesterday mentioning it as a positive play post govmnt shutdown. Then....today Blackstone says they are raised $540 million for there fastest growing buz of installing solar panels on home rooftops. Very positive for FSLR.

I wonder if it's a good short term play. They are doing well past month, but is there momentum to keep going. I usually don't buy all time highs

I don't like the solars for long term play. They are really rich! A lot of the growth is priced in. IMO You can definitely play the Mo though

I wouldn't play the gap up/down game this weekend. If the Fed decides to come out with all that econ data Monday morning it changes everything

I like short Railroads right here. CSX and NSC both hitting highs and looking rich on the charts. Both just missed eps numbers and are losing oil transport biz to conversions of natural gas for power and other energy solutions. Now that volitility is lower after gov shutdown resolution the Puts should be reasonable to buy
